NU-Journey "The Fruit Hater: My Journey of Discovering a Dislike for Fruits"

I always thought that I was a person who loved healthy food. I would eat my greens, drink my smoothies and munch on raw veggies. But there was one thing that always made me hesitate- fruits. I just couldn't seem to like them, no matter how hard I tried. I was often met with confused expressions and questions like, "how can you not like fruits?" But it was just the way I was.

It started with just a dislike, but it soon turned into an aversion. I would avoid them at all costs and if I had to eat them, I would have to force myself. I was tired of people trying to force me to like them and I just wanted to be accepted for who I was, even if that meant not liking fruits.

But then I started to notice a pattern, many of my friends and family members had similar feelings towards certain foods. It made me realize that everyone has their own preferences and dislikes. We should respect and accept each other's choices, even if we don't understand them.

So I decided to embrace my dislike for fruits and not let it define me. I stopped trying to like them and focused on finding other healthy foods that I enjoyed. And you know what, I found a love for veggies and whole grains that I never knew existed.

In the end, it's okay to not like something that others love. We are all unique and have different tastes. Let's stop forcing each other to like certain foods and instead celebrate our differences.
